Class of 1981, I was born in a small town in the Po Valley: "and this one from the plains, how did he get there in the mountains?" Kind of what everyone asks me! I started climbing for fun in 2008 and haven't been able to stop since. My mountaineering has always followed the succession of the cycles of the seasons, trying to savor to the fullest every moment spent with companions or alone in the mountains. First repeats, openings, chaining, solo and speed ascents; in a group or with a trusted climbing partner but also alone, just with myself. I like to experience the mountains at 360 degrees in all its facets, in summer and winter, spanning the entire alpine range ... I don't miss a thing!
