Born on Lake Maggiore at the foot of the mountains and the Swiss border since childhood I have always had a great desire to explore. With a degree in Industrial Design I work as a freelance Designer and Photographer with major collaborations and work all over the world, this allows me to visit far away places and manage time for mountaineering projects.
A lover of granite and climbing big wall mixed routes, I consider myself a complete Mountaineer and live the mountain in all its forms and seasons. I practice steep skiing, ski mountaineering, snowboarding, canyoning, ice and rock climbing. For the past few years I have also started paragliding and mountaineering with a glider on my back for a fast and fun descent. I mountaineer all over the Alps and although I know better the granite or the big walls of the West I have to my credit nice repeats and new routes all over the Alps . I have participated in numerous expeditions abroad where I have opened new lines and also where I have conquered untouched peaks. I have climbed in Pakistan, South America, North America, Arabian Peninsula, Scotland, Norway, Africa and all over the Alps. I am a CAI Academician (CAAI Western Group) and am a consultant for its technical committee. TeSA rescuer and Gorge Operator for CNSAS I am always looking for new adventures on walls far from the masses and where I can combine climbing, exploration and flying.
